Calor Gas 13KG Propane Gas Bottle

A larger sized cylinder in the propane cylinder range from Calor Gas. A 13KG propane cylinder will be too large to fit in the front locker of a caravan. Ideal for Multi season camping or caravanning, as propane gas does not freeze and therefore can used all year round.

- Popular with canal and narrow boats for cooking and heating
- Also used by catering vans and industrial appliances such as shrink wrap guns and floor sweepers in factories

What is the difference between Propane and Butane gas ?
LPG boils to produce gas (vapour):
- Propane boils at -42°C so can be used in arctic conditions.
- Butane boils at -0.5°C so when the ambient temperature falls to around freezing no gas is produced and even at around +4°C the pressure is often too low to be useful.
PLEASE NOTE:
We cannot ship Gas bottles that include Gas. These can only be collected from our store.

Can I swap this bottle for a Green patio gas 13 kg, thanks Tom

Thank you for your enquiry.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to exchange a Propane Red cylinder for a Patio Gas cylinder.
In addition, as of 27/05/2026, Calor Gas has temporarily ceased issuing new cylinder agreements for Patio Gas bottles. Patio Gas refills are now available on a like-for-like exchange basis only.
