The largest cylinder in the Butane range from Calor Gas. Most commonly used size in mobile gas heaters.
This gas bottle is Butane and therefore uses a 21mm clip on regulator

What is the difference between Propane and Butane gas ?
LPG boils to produce gas (vapour):
- Propane boils at -42°C so can be used in arctic conditions.
- Butane boils at -0.5°C so when the ambient temperature falls to around freezing no gas is produced and even at around +4°C the pressure is often too low to be useful.

I don't have a bottle, can I buy a new cylinder, How much will a new bottle cost me, thanks marc
Hello Marc, thank you for question, we sell refills and new contracts for Calor gas bottles. A new 15kg Butane cylinder with gas will cost £49.99 hire for a new cylinder and £56.50 for the gas refill, so total cost first bottle £106.49.After than initial payment for your first cylinder a refill will cost £56.50. Just return your empty cylinder and we will swap it over for a full one at the cost of £56.50, all prices and policies are correct as at 15.09.25, Kind regards Clare
