Ideal for small and medium sized BBQs. Suitable for 3 burner BBQs (plus side burner) as well as small table top patio heaters.
The gas bottle has been designed to be light, easy to carry and convenient to store.The 5kg Patio gas bottle is fitted with our innovative Gas Trac® indicator that lets you know how much gas you have remaining.
Although a Green Bottle it is a propane bottle but uses a clip on regulator 27mm.

What is the difference between Propane and Butane gas ?
LPG boils to produce gas (vapour):
- Propane boils at -42°C so can be used in arctic conditions.
- Butane boils at -0.5°C so when the ambient temperature falls to around freezing no gas is produced and even at around +4°C the pressure is often too low to be useful.

Hello, I am looking to purchase Patio Gas but do not already have a bottle to refill. Do you sell gas bottles as well as the refills? If so how much do they cost? Thank you.
Hello, thank you for your question. We sell refills and new contracts for Calor Gas Bottles. A refill on a 5kg patio gas bottle is £ 23.25. If you do not have a gas bottle, you will have to pay a Hire charge for a new bottle which on the Patio 5 kg is £49.99 plus your gas refill at £23.25, Total cost first bottle £73.24, there after you just pay the refill cost of £23.25. Please note, different sized bottles attract a different hire charge from calor gas, all prices and policies are correct as at 04.05.25, Calor gas can increase their prices, terms and conditions on their bottles at any time.
