Kontrol Krystals are a great solution for caravans and motorhomes, in controlling moisture and damp in the air.  A 450kg refill tab absorbs up to 1 litres, controlling damp, reducing condensation and eliminating musty odours. Keep your space comfortable, clean and free of moisture.

Suitable for use in living spaces of up to 20 m sq. ideal for caravans, living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms. Product comes with 1 x 450g tablet of Kontrol Krystals.

Like iron filings to a magnet the hygroscopic Krystals attract and remove moisture from the air, helping prevent damp and associated mould, mildew, unsightly stains and aiding in the neutralisation of odours. The streamline moisture trap is ideal for use throughout the household, ideally one per room where there is a damp problem and particularly suited for use on windowsills assisting in the prevention of condensation.

The system is noiseless and requires no electricity or batteries. 500 grams of Kontrol Krystals are effective for 6 to 8 weeks depending on ambient conditions and absorb twice their weight in moisture. The moisture trap is calibrated for ease of use and once full, you can use the ergonomic spout to safely pour away collected liquid. How do Kontrol Krystals work ? 

Kontrol Krystals are flakes of calcium chloride (CaCl2) which have a high affinity to water and readily attract excess humidity from the air by a simple chemical process. When used in a moisture trap, the Krystals begin to coagulate (sometimes developing a discoloured crust) and eventually, after a few weeks, depending on levels of damp and humidity, liquid will begin to collect in the base of the trap.

Kontrol Krystals will continue to function effectively for 2/3 months after exposure to the surrounding air.

For optimum results place the moisture trap into areas where there is damp or moisture problems.

How to use:

1 Remove all outer packaging, separate and remove top section of lid from main unit

2 Open refill pack

3 Place refill in cradle & replace top lid

4 Trap is ready to use

5 When all the Kontrol Krystals are gone and the base is full of liquid, pour the liquid away.
