Description
SAS Caravan Leg Lock for Corner Steady Single
SAS Corner Steady Leg Locks are an extremely tough and easy to fit security measure on your caravan to lock down your corner steadies and prevent theft.
SAS Corner Steady Leg Locks have insurance approval as they prevent access to the caravan steady winders. By locking down the corner steady legs in the down position they prevent thieves towing your caravan away unlawfully. Both front and/or rear legs can be secured on the same key number! Hand tools cannot squash these locks because of their thick heavy duty steel construction. The inner sleeve tightens onto the hex nut, followed by the outer sleeve locking over, giving double locking security. There is an additional locking key to fix to your corner steady winder, giving the two security measures against thieves.
These Leg Locks are extremely easy to use and fitted in a matter of seconds after arriving at the campsite. To keep everything together and safe, the 2 and 4 sets come with a smart, compact, plastic carry case. Leg lock spare parts are available from SAS if required. The leg locks work by locking the corners of the van in a downwards position, therefore immobilising the caravan. You will have a spare key to hand if you misplace one as two are supplied per lock you buy. There are hundreds of key combinations which makes it extremely unlikely another set is keyed the same as yours. SAS Leg Locks are manufactured to BS ISO Standards.
Fits:
SAS Corner Steady Leg Locks will fit any caravan with 19mm hex winders and where you have access to the corner steady nuts. (Not shielded by the caravan body). The diameter of the corner steady locks is 38mm, the opening in the caravan body must be big enough for this to fit.
As with all security measures, we recommend using corner steady leg locks in conjunction with other forms of security from SAS. Leg Locks are an excellent way to quickly secure you caravan and give maximum security. SAS Leg Locks are ideal for use at the campsite or at the motorway service station when stopping on your travels.
What SAS Leg Lock users say:
“What they hadn’t been able to do was wind up the legs which were all fitted with new SAS leg lock devices. It is undoubtedly these that saved the caravan from being stolen” – Caravan Magazine
