• The Telta Life is a modern twist on a traditional style of caravan awning which, thanks to its inflatable frame, can be pitched within 12 minutes by one person. The Life not only fits caravans but also motorhomes thanks to a one size fits all design; zips run along the side of the awning which can be opened to extend the height of the panel for those larger attachment heights. As the Telta Life has a generous depth of 275cm, you have more space for your furniture and ample space for day to day living. The awning is available in two different widths, a 330 and a 390. Both models can be extended by adding an extra-large annexe which can be used for sleeping extra guests or increasing your living area. A built-on brow canopy over the front of the awning provides additional rain protection when the front of the awning is open, as well as giving you the option to increase airflow by creating a covered veranda with the front doors.

  The Life Awning has a single inflation point but multiple deflation points which makes the awning not only simple to pitch but a dream to pack away. Telta have pioneered a new material for the protective tube sleeves, which not only reinforces the strength of the casing but helps to further reduce the weight. This also helps to reinforce the structure of the Air Frame, making the whole awning stronger. A double-pitch roof helps with water run-off while also increasing the internal height; this in turn also makes the awning feel roomier and avoids the habitational door of the vehicle scraping the awning while in use. The height of the side panel has also been increased, so there is no need to stoop when entering or exiting the awning.

  One of the best things about Telta Awnings is their flexibility in the vehicles they can fit. A clever multi zip design allows the awning to fit any vehicle with an attachment height from 235cm to 280cm, which covers 99% of the Motorhomes and Caravans on the market; this means that all you have to worry about is how wide you want the awning to be. Breathability is again one of the key talking points of the awning as Telta have used a rugged UV resistant breathable fabric, which is around 20% lighter than other brands materials. This then means that the overall awning weight is more on par with a Touring Awning but, unlike a Touring awning, this can be used for All Season use as well as for the odd weekend away. The weight of the awning can be further reduced by zipping all of the panels out and storing them in a separate bag to make it even more manageable. This then helps when you come to pitch the awning, as you will only have to feed the roof and the tubes into the awning rail which will be lighter still.
