The Porta Potti 335 is the smallest flushable chemical toilet in the Thetford range, so it is very compact, and is suitable for VW campervans and boats where space is at a premium.

The Porta Potti 335 with the Hold Down Kit (optional extra) which is perfect to use on boats! The toilet can be adapted with a special ‘hold down kit to attach the toilet to the floor of your boat, wherever you want. The Hold Down Kit is also useful in a VW Campervan Conversion, as many have a small cupboard underneath (depending on conversion specs) the Rock N Roll beds where the 335 toilet will fit. One simple action releases the toilet.

The Thetford porta potti toilets come in two parts,  the top tank which houses the fresh water tank, seat and cover and the bottom tank which houses the waste tank.

A useful feature of the 335 porta potti is the waste level indicator, which lets you know when it is time to empty the toilet. The 335 has piston pump flush, and is easy to use.

In terms of emptying the toilet which is probably the worst job on the campsite, it isn't as bad as you think. Simply separate the two sections of the toilet via the lever at the back of the toilet. Take the waste tank to the toilet waste station on the campsite. Turn the pour out spout and remove the end cap. Press and hold the vent button while the pouring spout is pointing downwards while emptying the waster tank.

We would recommend either Thetford Blue/Green for the bottom tank waste, and a Thetford pink rinse for the top tank, which are not included.
