QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
How easy is it to inflate and deflate, with two kids ?
Hello. thank you for the question, in terms of inflating the Shangri la double, very easy. Just unroll the self inflating mattress, open the valve to open, it will just fill with air. I have found that you may need to inflate and deflate a couple of times to release the fibres, as all the mats have been factory packed, so the more you inflate and deflate this helps the fibres of the mat just spring back. The valve is a little disc, which rotates one way to inflate and the other to deflate, so it's just a matter of rotating it the correct way. To deflate you need to put in a bit of work, so turn the disc to deflate, you will need to get on your hands and knees to push the air out towards the valve, so rolling the air out of the mat, children may be quite useful at this point, as they can help lie on the end and push the air out, if you use your weight and the kids weight, the air will just push out. Once you have rolled the air out once, I fold the mat in half and roll the air out again, this helps for packing back into the bag, which is oversized but still needs to rolled again, to fit. Once you have done this a couple of times, its very simple to do, the hardest bit, will be the deflating. Hope that helps, Kind regards Clare
